Is there still time for Throwback Thursday? I think so.
Now I know, I may loose a few of you here for the following statement but I completely stand by it. Copa Cabana is the best song. ever. written.
Yeah...I said it. I LOVE this song.
I still remember being a kid and hearing it blasted on the radio. I wasn't listsenng to the lyrics at the time but I thought it was awesome. I think Barry is fab for rocking it all these years and every time I hear it I think I really do need to find myself a huge feather and sequence head dress someday.
If you can stand it (I know not everyone is in to the arts) PLEASE watch the video to the end. You gotta see Barrys dancing moves. I use to practice those same dancing moves with my cousins......but thats another post.
So are you in to the Arts...Do you love Barry?

Wabbit Season
Looking forward to Wabbit Season? I know I am! I love, LOVE glittery eggs and grass in pretty pastel colors. This Easter will be grand with an egg hunt almost as big as Mr.Hip Hop here. Almost.
Are you making plans already?

Hey There, Its a Monday Icebreaker
Trying a new thing. I am calling it the Monday Icebreaker. I want to commit myself to blogging more regularly and Mondays are the biggest challenge. Thought this might be light and fun and hope yo will join in. So here goes
If you could be any animal today what would it be and why?
I will go first.
...I would like be a Bear. I'd like to hibernate all morning and wake up to enjoy a delicious Picnic basket.
You see how easy that was!
okay-now it's your turn.
p.s. I promise never to ask you if you were a tree...
You are Rad if you know what I mean by that.

Sew Cha Cha
With out further ado...my entry for the Heart and Sew project!
A whimsical flower vase for the girly girls on Valentines
I am happy with the way it turned out and ecstatic that it took just a few stitches to put together. I know it's a bit "cha-cha" but I can live with that. Thinking it could be fun for a Moulin Rouge style party or a bridal shower.
Let me know what you think and if you would be interested in a tutorial. I was thinking about offering one. I promise you wont have to hold your breath:)
More entries here...come check it out. Voting starts tomorrow!

80's Charm {Throwback Thursday}
Remember these?
circa 1980
You know how some things can take you back to when you were a kid in a heart beat. Well this is one of those things for me.Although, I don't own any plastic beauties these days, I can guarantee you if I were to see them at a store tomorrow... I would pounce on them like hairspray on a Valley Girl.Seriously.

I was OBSESSED with them! My mom did not understand my obsession but would humor me with a few pieces once in a while.

Would you believe me if I told you that I didn't have a big fancy wedding?
Well it's true. Married-Yes. Wedding-No
That is the one party I never got to plan.
I ran off with my spoon.....eloped to Vegas to be exact.
Classy.. I know.
that's me. that's my spoon. the only plan was to be happy.
I wouldn't change a thing.
Happy Valentines Day!
