Adriana recently submitted this fantastic Carnival birthday party she put together. I love all the fun details. Take a look....

as you can tell this event is darling but please visit Adriana's blog for the full load down!

side note
:
......amused that I actually recognized the clown pictured here. This is Lulu the clown. I never worked with her but recognized her instantly (from doing research for a client once).

Is it bad when you recognize local clowns you have never met???

See Natalie wait too long to post this feature.....

I knew this Dick and Jane/Vintage toy party would be featured all around blog town but I didn't think it would be overnight. Yikes people...don't you all sleep?! The Dick and Jane party was Circa...Monday???

Okay, so it is pretty fabulous and that is exactly WHY I, must feature it here.

Plus, its vintage inspired and ya'll know- me and vintage go waaay back! Then again, I suppose it wouldn't be vintage if it didn't go waay back?! You get what I mean.

This party was put together by the talented duo from Bella Grace Designs and Paper and Pigtails (Lindsey & Kori) and it is beyond uber cute with loads of details and a spectacular color scheme. See for yourself...

(long sigh).
I caught wind of this party a few days ago and reached out to Lindsey to get her blessing on the feature. I was thrilled to learn that...
  1. I had the go ahead
  2. this fun little fact. Lyndsey started blogging about a year ago and that Little Shindigs was the first blog she ever followed!
So I am flattered that someone as talented as Lindsey would find a small bit of inspiration here (actualy, it made my week) and I am certain that this sweet party will now inspire you.

ga-ga over this guy....

Who wouldn't be smitten with a blue and furry guy that wears a cape?

Personally, I am ga ga over him and this party put together by, no other then Kristy, the Head Pug herself! Go ahead and be amazed at all the heroic details.

This is but a glimpse to the party. You must visit the Purple Pug to get the full load down. Trust me, ther is lots more!

If party planners were like super heroes I bet Kristy would have the shiniest of capes! One guess as to what color it would be?

Hey Kristy, could I audition for the sidekick role...or is that going to the Pug?

Feature de jour

note to self-if I spoke French, perhaps this post may have been easier to write.

I came across Erika's blog a couple weeks ago. The thought and originality for her parties floored me. Her style is just incredible! I am not over exaggerating. All truthing here!
Take a look.

Sweet invitations. Honestly, I probably would have taken the easy road and done a cute Passport, but the souvenirs ideas is so much more darling!
Doesn't everybody screen paint sweet little hankies for their guests?

I know right?! I feel like such a terrible host.

note to self- I gotta step it up!

Fun photo shoot at the party.

The kids made their own souvenir and key chains with ribbons and mini Eiffel towers and macaroons. This idea I am definitely going to have to try out. So can you!

To see more of this party, please visit the Miko blog and be sure to check out her circus party with her daughter silhouette as a trapeze artist and her gorgeous Frida Kahlo Party .. eso si que fue una fiesata divina!
note to self-I speak Spanish..why didn't I feature the Frida Kahlo party????

Full Throttle

Michelle, the talent behind Maddycakes never ceases to impress me with her resourceful ideas in party planning.
Here are a few pictures from the Maddycakes Muse blog on a party she put together in all of two days, back in February!

I just love that she incorporated stuff from the clients garage to make it nothing short of a Grand Prix of a party!
Race over to learn more and check out the rest of the her blog for clever ideas, tips in entertaining and always tons of party inspiration.

You had me at Vintage

I came across the sweetest little first birthday party a couple weeks ago. Vintage inspired! I know right? Talk about luv at first sight.

It is just about the most darling little party I have ever seen. No need to say more because the pictures speak for themselves. Honestly..

Maribeth (mom and AMAZING party planner) + oh so talented Photographer for a dad. Its too perfect! But I gotta tell you, the birthday girl TOTALLY steals the show! Yep, I was swept away (long sigh).

Enjoy....and see you tomorrow!

uber cuteness alert!!!!!

Ohh... who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

Absorbent and yellow and wearing a tutu is he?!
If a fabulous birthday is something you wish, then flop on the deck and just look at this....

I totally dig this party, don't you? The colors, the tutus, the krabby patties!!! To see how they pulled it off, please visit Odd girl out. Personally, I love how they came up with the theme.
