Long Time, No SEA

{Long Time}

I am a big, fat, liar. I meant VERY much to start blogging more regularly (clears throat).
Easier said then done. Sorry dudes.

However, I am happy to report that the Factory is alive and well. I have been lucky to receive lots of  fabulous feedback on some of the latest pieces and have been getting a surge of orders for some pretty fabulous parties coming up;)

Here are a few of the latest:
this was a Surfs up party...you can see the full recap of this little RAD party here.

  A Vintage Rockets and Robots Party....out of this world! See it here.

A Mario Kart Party

A Memorial Day BBQ and B-day Party as seen here.

A little bedroom wreath for a girly girl

This one is on its way to a fabulous little party on the other side of the country.

There is a few more that I am not suppose to share with you just yet but cannot wait till they are "revealed".

{No Sea}

Off Topic-I am planning myself a little shindig! My birf-day is coming up this month and my DH and I are gonna throw our first clambake for a few of our close frineds! We live in the "Valley" so there will be "no SEA" but it will still be fab. Hope to keep you updated!

Watching paint dry...

I spent today working on a vintage circus project. I had planned to paint a plastic elephant PINK but Ironman (AKA- my 3 year old son) was not happy with my choice in color. Actually, he through a fit! So in order to put an end to the tears and get back to work, I gave in. Honestly, I was on the fence about the color and I am happy I went with the "suggested" blue. Anyone else out there with a 3yr old creative director?

Anyway, the elephant remains unfinished because the paint took way too long to dry. So I literally sat there watching paint dry.
Fun.
Really.
Then I decided to start something else.

I got this little chair last weekend and figured now is a good time as any, right? Right.
So I made this.

an Alice inspired cupcake tower.

Here is a close up of a few little details but its not totally done yet. Just wanted to share a sneak preview. More to come, very soon:)

....and how was your weekend?

Happy Un-Birthday

A happy un-birthday it was! My daughters 5th birthday party happened a couple weeks past her actual birth date (oops). But it was a blast!

We had fun putting together this Mad Tea Party, on a strict budget mind you. Fortunately for us my garage is full of "stuff". My aunt, a costume maker made this darling Little Alice dress for her. My kid sis always the sport, dressed up and played the part of the Queen of Hearts.

Also, my dear friend Chris baked some cupcakes with the perfect shade of Blue. Gracias Christinita!

I have to apologize for the quality of lighting in the pictures. I promise you it was darling and if you would like to see more then just follow the white rabbit or perhaps just follow this link here.
